Easy Rewards participants
We had a great turn out for September’s Big Drawing and we would like to thank you all once again for your participation in the Easy Rewards program since June 2006. The Easy Rewards program has been very successful by reducing 110,250 drive-alone commuting days, saving nearly 2 millions miles from being driven while eliminating 54 tons of carbon monoxide from being emitted into the environment. You should all be proud of yourselves!
The Easy Rewards program has now come to an end. Unfortunately, for those of you still eligible and participating in the program today, we have paid out or committed all of our available incentives. We hoped to hear good news before the end-of-the-month September reports were made. We have not been able to find supplementary funding sources, however. For those of you living/working inside the City of Seattle who are looking for other incentive programs to participate in, please visit the cities program website http://www.seattle.gov/waytogo/ .
We hope that you have enjoyed participating in the Easy Rewards program and that you have benefited from using alternative modes of transportation to get to work instead of driving alone. The Easy Rewards Team is optimistic that you will continue using alternative transportation when commuting to work and if you need assistance finding new alternatives feel free to contact us. Our team can put together personalized commute options for individuals or help facilitate commute benefit programs for businesses. For more information about our programs and services you can visit http://www.duwamishtma.org/Employer.html.
To keep up to date with transportation &/or construction issues in the Duwamish/SODO area make sure you register to receive our monthly newsletter by visiting http://www.duwamishtma.org/ and click “Subscribe”.
We apologize that the closure of the program has taken place so suddenly but appreciate all your support in helping make the Easy Reward program such a success during the past 2 ½ years.
Thanks,
Erin Evetts & the Easy Rewards Team
